Now some of you may be wondering just what the whole 'letter to adrian' was all about. I was just cleaning my room and found teh letter, so to enlighten you, here is an unabridged version of the real thing:

ermm......well...im back at Jail...nothing exciting really, well of course its exciting being here, but its not like I had the chance to miss it in less than a week....hmmm...nonetheless, its awesome to be on holidays, haveing nothing to think about except study!!!! lol...yes, athts right folks- I intend to spend my entire week under teh Sharona tree, or in the library studying (you see, us poooor nurses have such a hard course taht 'holiday' or 'break' is not in our vocabularly!!!- and Ansell I'm sure will agree with me on this one!!! LOL!)
hmmm.....well....this really isn't good- I cant even remeber what happened on friday!!!! aarrgrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! !!! alzeheimers is setting in!!!!
hang on *consulting with Adele*....ahhhh yes- Friday had booring class as usual, primary health care with Michael Steed *YAWN!* i was glad when taht was over at 12- (I just have to mention taht we watched this hilarious video on health in other cultures & there was this one on a poor American Negro family, and teh community nurse went to visit them because they never went to the Dr, and teh nurse asks this Mum "Why do you think your daughter is sick"? and the Mother replies "well when I was pregnant with her I saw a dog get killed; tahts why I think she's sick"..........the whole class cracked up at that..but it is a bit sad to think taht pppl actually think like that!!!) went to room & finished packing, took photos with macro-lense of Ang & her b/f making out in the carpark!!! lol....umm...carried piles of luggage to Leise's car, said goodbye to the nice receptionist, found Peta's car keys and finally left at ?????? i can't remeber. I can't even remeber when I arrived here.......hmmmm
Kush & I are just discussing the (non-existent) social life at the SAH- she says she was VERY disappointed with it, not taht I blame her, beacuse it is rather sad, but good cause it encourages you to study..enyhow..where was I??
ahhh yes- at jail.....tea as usual was great, considering I've been living on bread & rice the past week :( ......had AWESOME shower (sorry- can't get over it) and went to Opening Sabbath & 1st Church where the bass was rather loud :~ but goodish...sat & chatted for a while, tehn went to bed.
Sabbath morning- back killing me so it took a rather long time to get out of bed, then had to wait in the foyer for agees till someone came along with an access card (can i just pause here to mention how jolly ANNOYING it is to not have one!!!) S/S was great, church was great- although that guy needs to learn how to not preatend you're finishing your sermon up when you're gonna keep talking for another half hour!!! very misleading!!! umm..lunch, then went on the EVENT OF THE YEAR>>>>>& gt;>>> (wait for it...)
DRUM ROLL............................yes, its the ADRA APPEAL (or as most people go-"erm, whats ADRA"? (reply)- "its the Adventist.." (cut off) "no thanks- im not interested". Anyhow- yes it was quite amusing, went in Bradens car (and we didn't get lost!!!!)& was buddied up with Mitch & we had a blast, and as usual teh rich ppl with teh Merc's in their driveway are teh ones who are like "man- sorry, I'm flat broke" YEAH RIGHT!!!! and teh poor old grandmas' are the ones who give you $10 which could probably feed them for a month.......collectced $48.10- rather sad really, but anywho....should probably flutter those eyelashes a little more next time...lol!!!
Then it was tea, and closing Sabbath which was sooo cool cause we had to pretend we were all stuck on a desert Island with each other and passed around toilet paper taking how much we thought we'd need for a week. Luckily, I only took about 10cm, saying that being a desensitised nurse i could use gum leaves just fine, and ppl like deta & Taylor who literally took a few 100m!!!! We ended up having to say a compliment to a certain person in teh group whose name we drew out of a bag for each segement of toilet paper tehy had taken!!!! Quite amusing.....a lot of 'you have noce hair' compliments flying around, and a quite embarassing moment for me, who honestly thought (as we all do!) taht Darwin was in QLD!!! I mean- come on!!! my Dad used to work up there and I seriously thought it was right at teh tip of QLD...anywho......laugh as much as you want..I dont care *goes & cries herself to sleep*
hmm....Kush & Adele are singing teh entire collection of songs from "The sound of Music" tee heee....i lovve that movie!!!
anyhow- tonight I went with Adele & Sharona to teh "reggae Night' which i was very apprehensive about- and after a great deal of nagging by Sharona, Adele, Harris & Sarg, i finally got up there and danced (yes, evil I know, and I've been told I'm going to hell!) but it was such a great way to relax & i had such an awesome time (although my back is not thanking me right now!!!) and as just a tad stinky right now!!!
Then went to Student services & watched teh end of some movie & afterwords some person who shall remain nameless (ANSELL!!!) tried the whole 'back to Kelly' thing....yeah- NICE TRY!!!! but admit it, its already on teh way out and I shan't forget your efforts to annoy me by doing that...just waiting for the perrrfecct moment for payback..bwa ha ha!!! (sleep with your eyes open!!!)
Got back from jail on SUnday night...had an awesome weekend there, just seeing everyone again, and I raelised that I miss it more than I admit! Friday night went to the caf, and saw everyone!!! yay!!! and oh my goodness- the food people!!! and the cheapness of it!! THose lucky avonjailians dont realise how well off they are!!!! us poor nurses who live on dry crackers and rice :P so after that an incident happened which isn't even worth mentioning- if you want to know, ask Ansell, but really, don't even bother wasting your time, cause its gonna blow over really really soon! so after taht, I had a really bad headache/beginnings of a migraine, so I went to adele's room and had a nap & some verrrry strong painkillers courtesy of Kristin, so I went to first church, it was great!!! loved the sermon, loved the music.....I really miss having friday night programs :(
Sabbath- woke up and went to Toni's room- had a good old chat & went to get dressed & OH NO!!!! i had a hair disaster!!! poor SHarona & Kylie-anne had to wait for me for ages- poor dears!!! SAbbath school was great (erm, i mean "young adult networks". Especially like Clintons analagy about mathematicians! Bradens group lesson was swesome too- we got asked what our favourite holiday destination was- Sharona & I said Avondale!!!...went to church- its was great...far out--everything is great!
Was going to go on the ADRA appeal, but got talked out of it by certain persons, so I will go this weekend instead. Went to teh Daniel Seminar- if you ask me, he was just a little off the track....hmmmm..anyway, then Daniel & I went to Evensong, which was AWESOME!!!! man, i loved the chicks voice- then off to tea with more good food....hmmm...then.......oi....what did I do??? oh yeah- erm went over to S/S but there was other rather LOUD people there, so we left and went to watson- the others started watching a movie in the chapel, and i stayed in teh foyer with teh 'apple party' as Ansell calls it- we downloaded heaps of songs- I now have 769!!! and then I went in & watched the rest of teh movie which was called 'saved'- not out in Australia yet- but when it comes out you all have to see it. The best Christian movie I've ever seen- really puts things into perspective. Then they decided to watch it AGAIN and i sat there half way, then left, cause I can't handle seeing things 2ce in a row (unless its a classic like P&P!) went to bed around 12.30ish
Sunday- um......i have to hurry....um...went to BRUNCH!!! how awesome! made a new flame for the olympics- had quite an episode outside the caf with adele, casey, sharona & Deta!!! um.....spent the rest of teh day studying physics in the library until 3 when we thought we had to leave- so we raced back to dorm- Peta said we could leave at 6.Went back to the library and did up some invitations for the 25 ppl we are hopefully having down here to visit us. WEnt to tea- had so much fun- I don't think i've laughed so hard or been so silly in ages! I really miss taht- being immature at avondale and getting away with it! Down here you are expected to be all mature & lady-like...pfft!!! Didn't end up leaving jail till 8- got home at 9, went to bed at 1.
i'll skip monday cause it was boring. Yesterday- I was in a bad mood all day, then last night Sharona & I went to the first Prayer meeting run by good old Leith. It was awesome!!! we came out of there with such a buzz- prayer is the most awesome thing!
Then I rang mum & wished her a happy b'day- had a good old chat to her & stuff
Then Clover & me & Shaz watched 'girl, interrupted' on my laptop (Romeo)till 12.30ish & went to bed.
THis morning I was the 'alarm clock' so woke up at 7 and woke up clover, who was already awake, and oh crap! i just remebered I was supposed to wake Sharona up too!!! whoopps!!! I went to the GP at 8 to get my 3rd Hep B injection, which is starting to make my arm ache, and it inly took 10 min, which is why I have the time to sit down and write this huge post be4 class!
But i'd better go- wouldn't want to miss physics now would I ???? lol
well, I got my MRI results, which were slightly disturbing, yet comforting at the same time (if taht makes sense)...........its a lot worse than I expected, but the upside is, surgery is most likely to be a must, which means I will get better and be able to live a normalish life again. the reaults showed taht the damage is worse than the CT scan I had, which could either mean that my back has gotten worse since then, or it simply didn't show up on teh CT whcih only has an accuracy of 70ish % compared to 90ish for MRI.
Last night Peta and I worked on our tutorial...it was sooo boring and tiring, and we worked till 1.30am whcen we couldn't keep our eyes open any longer, slept till 3.30, peta came to my room to continue but i was so tired I was ..whats the word...? incomprehensible???? anyway, so we decided to sleep till 5.30, then we skipped class (oh my! rebel!) and did the finishing touches till 11am. I think the whole thing went pretty well, and considering I've never ever seen out lecturer smile...he was LAUGHING!!!!! so hopefully, tahts a good sign! Didn't get out mark tho....whcih is a shame, but im just glad its over!
Tee hee....the way up here Peta and I went shopping in Hornsby & I saw a shirt in Supre...I couldn't resist.....It has BLONDE written in big pink letters, and I bought it for Sharona!!!! lol.......she couldn't believe it, not sure if she's happy or not!!! lol...i told her she has to wearit this weekend in a public place, not sure if she will tho...... :P
And as I speak, I am sitting in Ella Boys computer room! (YAY!!! we have real internet!!!)I am rather excited to be back, lots of memories are in this place, and i've seen Chris & Kristen & Kim & Bek....very cool! But Sharona, Kylie-anne and I are locked out of our rooms...apparently the person with our room keys is off campus so we're just bummming around.....I think I will go exploring with people & see whats changed, try & find ppl etc.
mmm...I have a BIG headache...ouch! I think it may be due to the fact taht i've had 3 meals in the past 3 days, and not sleeping a great deal....anyhow....can't wait for tea tonight in the caf & eat real food!!!! oohh, listen to me...i'm sounding as excited as Sharona!!! lol

oohh, gotta laugh hey???? Last night I cam on here to try to post another blog and hey presto.....the computer froze and wouldn't let me post it!!! all taht thinking and rambling for nothing!!! oi oi oi
well.......firstly I should mention my wonderful laptop! He's an Apple ibook G4. He arrived on Monday Morning and I spent the whole day playing around and installing stuff & downloading songs etc.We officially named him "romeo Rafael"...oohhhhhhh!!!! he is adorable (and if this notion seems strange-keep in mind taht I am one of these wierd people who names everything substantial they own!) everyone loves playing around with him, and he can be quite a distraction in class!!!! and Sharona got hers yesterday ewhich is highly exciting...named it 'smile' lol!!!!! i cracked up when I heard that, but we bag each other out all teh time so Im sure she doesn't mind! and my friend clover is getting one soon, as is Yo Yo, and Peta, and Karen got one teh other day......far out!!! its sooo exciting!
I had my MRI today...i was actually quite scared about it...more about the results than anything else....I had been told by at least 3 people taht I had to fast for 12 hours beforehand, so I had no brekky or lunch, and when I arrived there they told me I didn't have to fast!!!! oi! the guy conducting the scan was really nice, and made sure I was always modest in my gown with the gap in the back! Tunnel was a bit scary though, as I am a tad claustrophobic :( took about 40 min, and I have never had to lie so still in my life! you can't even twitch, which can be quite difficult at times! It was so noisy i needed ear plugs, but it was all good. I get the films and results tomorrow, so I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight!!!
hmm....Mine & Peta's tutorial is due on Friday........funnily enough we haven't done a great deal on it, but luckily we both work on the wavelength, so im not worried at all. If she was one of these lazy people who left all teh work to me, i would be pacnicking, but its all good. We are the sort of people who can do it impromptu if needed, and hopefully we'll get a goodish mark. and since I'm banned from doing clinical practice I have a whole day off tomorrow so I'll get a heap of work done then.
and im coming to avonjail this weekend...Sharona is sooo excited! any topic of converasation she can link to it! I reckon if I asked her what she thought of the current state of affairs in Inner Mongolia she would find a way to bring Avondale up!!!!! lol...naah, its great taht she's so passionate, and I thought taht I would be too, but funnily enough I have adapted rather well down here, so I don't pine away for avondale very much really. but all teh same I am rather excited about coming up and seeing everybody again :)
oh, and daniel, I am DESPERATE for some help with physics!!! I just sit there in class and everything goes 'whoosh', and im not alone in this!!! ARRGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! !!!!!! its so horrible!!! I would rather do anatomy & Microbiology and Chemistry 10 times over!!!!
anyhow....i probably should go and do a bit of study & stuff & play around with my laptop & procrastinate a bit!!! Im actually feeling rather lightheaded and woozy & sore so I might have an early nite I think....

before I start my dedication, I would like to mention the 2 things I did this weekend, which are, in my eyes, 'rebellish'.
Firstly:friday night a certain good friend of mine (dont worry, im not mentioning any names Sharona!!) and I (tee hee) snuck into the boys dorm!!!! SHOCK HORROR!!! ADrian left the dooor open for us, so we waited till no-one was around and snuck in....bwa ha ha!!! nothing unusual tho...there were other girls there as well. SO anyhow, we just sat in his room chatting & listening to music, reading, surfing etc, then Shaz went to bed, and i was getting really sleepy & dopey....then next thing I know Im awake at like 2am in his bed under a FORD doonah (eeewww...ford!!!), and he was asleep on a matress on the floor....whoops!! I can't believe I fell asleep! poor guy, so I gave him the doonah, cause he had to start work at 8am. then at 7:45ish I snuck out and back to my room where I found a note from Shaz saying "kel, when you get bak, check in with me so I know you're ok" !!! I slept for a couple of hours then went & saw her, and like my mother she was like OH MY GOODNESS!!! What will people think of you??? But i know the truth, so its ok...and sh'es fine with it, because Adrians a good guy, total gentleman, wonderful, smart, intelligent, good looking, handsome, nice, stud-muffin,sweetie-pie, gorgeous, darling, hardworking ,...and Im saying lots of nice stuff about him cause this is a dedication post to him!!!
Secondly: ok, prepare yourselves for this one, its pretty darn shocking!!! On sabbath I wore PANTS to CHURCH!!!! FAR OUT!!!! if only Stanthorpe Church members could see me now!!! Next thing you know I'll be joining a pentecostal church and smoking Marijuana!! LOL!!!

hmmmm....well this week has been....interesting!!!
My mood swings have been unbelievable......im up, then down, then up then down....etc etc etc
Tuesday I was on such a high, becuse our trip to the Paramatta Red Cross was successful....i had sooo much fun with the guys...unfortunately I wasnt the fastest at giving blood (karina beat me by 2 min)!!! But yeah, heaps of fun..especially the trip there & back- eg. getting lost in the carpark! and doing strenuous exercise immediately after giving blood! and of course the hightlight was feeling Adrians leg (LOL...big joke now...apparently we're getting married & having 51 children...and they will have ADDHD!!!) I got asked to be the coordinator to run bus loads of nursing students to the blood bank every 3 months, and i was thrilled to say yes!! I love challenges, and organising stuff...
wednesday, I was informed taht I was barred from doing clinical practice until i have a note from my neurosurgon saying I am able to do it. And for each day I miss, I have to pay $50. so I get a day off every fortnight to do extra study etc. I was in a bad mood after that
I really feel sorry for my friends, and they have been so understanding of me....I have been snapping at them, and keeping confined to my room and even being a tad nasty to my parents...and I hate being like this
Wednesday night we came up with a plan for exercise, since it is too dangerous to go jogging here at night....so we decided to run up the stairs to the 13th floor of the SAH every night. Last night, we did it 3 times which = 378 (one trip) so x 3= A LOT!!!! I dont know if you've ever tried it, but running up and down 180 flights of stairs in 10 minutes or so is pretty tiring!!! we were sooo dead at the end of it, and our calf muscles were having spasms!! I woke up this morning in AGONY!!! but we figure, that if we do it at least once a day, and get our time down to 2 min, we will be pretty fit by the end of the year!!! and if we eat even a tiny bit of chocolate, we make ourselves do another trip! THis added with teh fact taht we all live basically on fresh air here...we'll all be sticks before long!!!
This morning in class, I handed out a survey on whether people are interested in trvelling to give blood; and the response was GREAT!! so taht made me really happy, and I have spent teh afternoon getting all my stuff organised.
Also today, I made an appointment for an MRI scan at the SAH..its more expensive here, but I figure its so much easier to access, and their machine is very new soo........and the app is for Wednesday which is probably a lot quicker than anywhere else.
AND.....Kush is here at SAH!!! how exciting!!! we have had heaps of fun having her here, and sh'es leaving right now...bub bye Kush..visit us soon :)
And Ang Has just arrived....this place is crawling with people from jail!!!
Also...My laptop has finally been ordered!!!! WOHOOOO!!!!! I cant wait...2 weeks to go :) :) :)

i had my 50 minute tutorial today, which I've been stressing over all week.....I thought it went relatively well...shame that we only got a Disctinction...oh well...theres always next time I guess. We lost marks for going over the huge content of matierial....which we couldn't really help due to time contraints. but Our lecturer said that we were both talented presenters bla bla, and everyone said that we did great, so...pfft, gotta be happy with that. A whinge I will have tho, is I don't feel its fair to be marked as a pair....like I literally did 3 times the amount of work my partner did, which to me doens't see fair. But anyhow....
i really need to get out of this bad mood I've been in for the past few days..its not doing me or anyone else any good.
Hmm....Im trying to waste time...I'm locked out of my room, cause I gave my access card & Key to Yo Yo who has now gone home, and im homeless!!! lol....well not really, all I have to do is get a spare and unlock my room!!!
My weekend was greatish....church was really good...we had ordinances, and then the main meal of the week, saw Maria whom we gave the great tour of the SAH, and then I went back to dorm and slept, and had an hour long bath (mmmm!) reading "gifted hands' for the umpteenth time. Great book that..always inspires me.
So after that, I started studying at 5:30ish and went to bed around midnight......got up and rang mum sunday morning & did my tutorial all day...and well thats really, really boring!!
So you are now caught up on my boring life!!!
Tomorow, may (hopefully) hold some more inteeresting things!!!
